I had a great experience at Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach. The hotel is perfectly located, just a short stroll from shops and the beach. While the pool was a bit small and more of a spa, overall the spacious room and attentive staff made my stay enjoyable. The only downside was a parking incident that left a sour taste, but the service from Erica at the reception was excellent.

Rooms

My Deluxe King Room was spacious and clean, featuring a huge window with views of the ocean. The updated lighting and amenities were a nice touch. However, better bathroom lighting would have made getting ready easier.
Service
10.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Erica at the reception who went out of her way to assist my group. They offered great service that made us feel cared for.
Location

The location was fantastic, just steps away from dining and shopping, plus close to the beach. It's perfect for anyone wanting to experience the heart of Waikiki.
Dining

I didn't eat at the hotel, but heard the dining options were limited, especially for vegetarians. I’d be curious to see a wider variety on the menu.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent, with filtered water and comfy lounge areas. However, the pool was quite shallow and not suitable for a good swim, which was a little disappointing.

5.4/10

I had a mixed experience at Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach. The location is really good, making it easy to explore the vibrant area with nearby dining and shops. However, the service fell short in a few areas, particularly with housekeeping and amenities. Overall, while the hotel has great potential, my expectations weren't fully met this time around.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and clean, but I was disappointed there were no balconies. The mountain view was nice, but I missed having an outdoor space.
Service

The front desk staff were friendly and professional, but I struggled with housekeeping as they didn’t come as expected. I ended up without services for my entire stay, which was frustrating.
Location

The hotel's location is fantastic, central to shopping, restaurants, and just a short walk from the beach. I loved being able to access so many places easily.
Dining
5.0
There wasn't an on-site restaurant available during my stay, which was a bit disappointing. I had to explore outside for dining options instead.
Facilities

The pool area was nice but very shallow, not ideal for swimming. They offered some beach gear, which was a plus, but sometimes they ran out by late morning.

My stay at the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach was mixed. On the bright side, the room was spacious, spotless, and had a fantastic view. However, I encountered issues with the shower's water pressure and temperature fluctuations, which were quite frustrating. The location is excellent, but some staff interactions left a bit to be desired.

Most staff were friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk. though I had one unsettling interaction with a staff member that left me perplexed.
Location

The location was prime, close to everything I needed in Waikiki, just a couple of blocks from the beach, which was a major highlight.
Dining
6.0
While there wasn't a restaurant on-site, I didn't mind as I could explore nearby dining options. I didn't find the breakfast buffet enjoyable due to disorganization, which was disappointing.
Facilities

The facilities included a hot tub and a small gym, but the lack of a proper pool was a letdown. Overall, the hotel was efficient and modern, which I appreciated.

My stay at Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach had some highlights, like the friendly staff and prime location. but there were some issues that really impacted my experience. Parking was a challenge, and I was disappointed to discover there was no room service. While the overall vibe is great and the facilities are modern, they fell short in a few areas that could use improvement.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and clean, but the dull lighting and exposed shower layout were drawbacks. I appreciated the large TV and the overall modern decor.
Service

The staff were generally friendly and helpful. but I found the lack of information and assistance regarding dining options to be frustrating.
Location

The location is perfect for exploring Waikiki. so central to shopping and dining, which made it convenient when we wanted to head out.
Dining

It was disheartening to find that the in-house restaurant was closed, and the lack of any room service really impacted my stay. especially since we were on our honeymoon.
Facilities
6.0
While there were great facilities like a gym and complimentary beach equipment, the parking situation and tight garage made it a hassle to fully enjoy the stay.

6.6/10

I had a mixed experience at the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. However, significant issues like the lack of breakfast and a malfunctioning shower really dampened my stay. The staff was friendly, but it seems management could improve how they support elite members and handle maintenance problems.

Rooms
5.0
My room was spacious and well-decorated, but there were noise issues from the elevator, and I dealt with poor shower water pressure during my stay.
Service
7.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm environment despite the management issues.
Location
9.0
The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore Waikiki and nearby attractions.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed, and while they advertised nearby options, it felt misleading, especially for elite guests seeking complimentary breakfast.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area was quite small, and while the gym was decent, the lack of cleaning services during my stay was disappointing.
